Ladies and gentlemen,

The Communication Ministry brings a money and time saving for citizens, placing Romania into the orbit of modernization. In this moment, there are more than 12 millions internet consumers in the country. There are more than 12 millions Romanians waiting for this program in order to avoid queues, not to waste money anymore, tired of queuing at different institutions to pay taxes, or simply get information. I congratulate Minister Gabriel Sandu for his being consistent with what he pledged at the beginning of his mandate. Last week, we inaugurated the programme of the 345 hotspots, internet points in large cities and municipalities, in central areas, in parks from student camps, in order to facilitate access to internet and information for youngsters and not only.
It is a program with national coverage through which, wherever we are, we can obtain information with respect to the community in which we are living, Romania, taxes, facilities to European funds, what we are interested in, in our daily life. I conclude by saying that it has been a successful programme. I am sure that Romanians will receive it as such, using it they will use both time and money.
