PM Emil Boc has chaired the meeting of the Inter-ministerial Committee for Combating Tax evasion, reiterating his appeal to Ministers, for a zero tolerance towards tax evasion and has requested better results in 2010, from all institutions involved.
The Head of the Executive has asked the members of the committee to translate into legislative acts the solutions identified for the already known tax evasion areas, such as: existence of ghostly companies, cession of social parts or shares of companies with unpaid budget obligations to deceased persons, persons with disabilities or foreign citizens from non EU states, or exploitation of facilities of companies in insolvency procedure.
The members of the committee have presented to Prime Minister more areas of tax evasion, identified in their sectors of activity, and Prime Minister has decided these problems to be analyzed, and regulations to be issued in this respect.
Ministers Sebastian Vladescu, Adriean Videanu, Elena Udrea, Catalin Predoiu, Mihai Seitan, Mihail Dumitru, as well as representatives of Administration and Interior Ministry and of the National Agency of Fiscal Administration have attended the meeting of the Inter-ministerial Committee for combating tax evasion.
