The Public Health Mastership from Iasi informed the Health Department today about the measures that the management of the “Socola” Clinical Psychiatry Hospital took at Sipote Section, after some irregulars were noticed.

The management of the “Socola” Clinical Psychiatry Hospital made an administrative investigation at the Sipote Section and decided the sanctioning of the Honceru Dumitru nurse, through the dissolution of the work contract, the sanctioning with a warning of the specialist psychiatrist doctor Botoc Nicolae, the section chief, the sanctioning with the 2 months decrease of the basic remuneration with 10% of the chief medical assistant Iurea Dniela. The section?s management also got warned in written to take measures that these kinds of incidents not to ever repeat.

These measures were taken because on August 10 and 11, 2004, without the approval or informing the section?s management, the nurse Honceru Dumitru took at his residence 2 patients interned in these section, to help him at making unburned bricks.

The nurse is recognizing the deviation he committed with the motivation that for their help the patient were paid with amounts between 30 000 - 100 000 ROL.

The representatives of the hospital also checked up aspects regarding the medical caring of the patients, the hygiene and cleaning condition, both in pavilions and alimentary block, and no wrongs were found.
