Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu fosters dialogue between Government and the National Coalition for Romania’s modernization led by Alexandru Cumpănașu

Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu has had today a first meeting with representatives of the National Coalition for Romania’s Modernization, part of the steps for dialogue between the two institutions. The Head of the Executive has encouraged continued cooperation through periodical meetings of Coalition members with Ministers and teams of Ministry’s specialists  in order to identify together the best solutions for each priority field.

Today’s discussions have focused on European funds absorption and ways to improve this process, in this context, Minister Delegate Mihaela Toader has presented the work calendar for the next period. Also, the National Education Minister Pavel Nastase has presented the Government’s vision on the development of education and research, priority fields for this Executive.

During this meeting, discussions have aimed at legal aspects related to public administration’s transparency and efficiency, energy and natural resources exploitation, the draft unitary salary law, the IT&C field.

Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu has outlined that all these priority fields for Government should be approached from the perspective of national interest and public welfare.
